Net neutrality

On June 14, a US appeals court supported the Obama administration’s position, barring internet service providers from slowing down consumer access to web content. The ruling is a victory for net neutrality, the concept that internet service providers should not create fast or slow lanes for internet traffic in exchange for premium rates. Internet service providers like At&T are not satisfied with the decision, and they are expected to appeal to the Supreme Court.
